Varieties: 85% merlot, 10 % cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc.
Vintage: 2005
Winemaking: We create this wine by means of a traditional and classic winemaking style. After an extended maceration at temperatures of 27 - 29 Cº, alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel tanks, the wine is allowed to age in oak barrels.
Ageing: A selection of 225- and 300-liter second and third year barrels are used. The wine from the 2000 harvest has been left to oxidate in barrels for 12 months. This slow and measured oxidation favours good maturation and development of tertiary flavours.
