PIZZICATO
Mas Comtal, Pizzicato 2007
Description
Here we have the first harvest of a new wine, a monovarietal rosé slightly fizzy, made from a variety of Muscat from Hamburg; a red grape of German origin, the result of a cross between Muscat of Alexandria and Trollinger (a variety cultivated in the South Tyrol, Italy). On this occasion classical music has inspired the name. We have chosen the musical term PIZZICATO which is applied to the technique of playing a stringed instrument (such as the violin, viola, cello or double bass) by plucking the strings with the fingertips. This wine, of which we have created an experimental sample of 3800 bottles, is aimed at those who love a wine of a youthful soul and spirit, whether as a fun and relaxing aperitif or as refreshment at any time of the day. It also accompanies starters, pastas and pizzas excellently.
