Pizzicato

Here is a slightly effervescent rosé, made with the Muscat Hamburg variety; a black muscat of German origin, the result of a cross between Muscat of Alexandria and Trollinger (a variety grown in the Italian area of South Tyrol). This time we were inspired by classical music to name it. We chose the name PIZZICATO which is the term applied to a musical technique that involves playing a string instrument (such as the violin, viola, cello and double bass), pinching the strings with your fingertips. We have made 4163 bottles of this wine and it is aimed mainly at friends of the wine of soul and young spirit, as a fun and relaxed option to take as an aperitif or between meals. Also great to accompany starters, pasta or pizza.

Vinification: Once the grapes have been destemmed, they are macerated for 12 hours at a temperature of 14 oC. Then the must is fermented for 15 days at a temperature of 14-15 oC. After the wine has been filtered and is ready to be bottled, a small amount of carbon dioxide is added before bottling.

Highly recommended as an aperitif and as wine for between meals. Very good also as accompaniment to starters, pasta or pizza. (Our suggestion) Ideal complement to pasta or pizza, a long way from the fizzy, sugary “wines” we all know and have at some point endured. (www.adictosalalujuria.com)

Its light-hearted image made us wonder, the variety caught our attention, the fruit got us hooked and the bottle was finished without us hardly realizing. It is a wine for everyone, casual, bold, and the intensity of the fruit will grab the attention of the most discerning, which is why the rest of us will like it. (www.adictosalalujuria.com) “Light cherry colour . White flowers aroma, expressive .Fresh, fruity, easy to drink, correct on the palate.” (Peñín Guide 2015)
