The Gran Angular is a project aimed at developing a new line of experimental microvinifications, which began in 2010. Thanks to it, we can produce and offer the most curious and demanding wine lovers singular and unique wines.

Characteristics

  • 100% Xarel·lo.
  • A 60-year-old vineyard planted as bush vines.
  • Hand-harvested grapes.
  • Native yeast. Fermented using a vineyard-grown “starter” (a foot of the tank) to avoid any inoculation from cellar-resident yeast spores.
  • Fermented in a stainless steel tank.
  • Natural tartaric stabilization, using the cold of the December and January nights.
  • Minimal filtration: it’s filtered only twice—once before tartaric stabilization and once before bottling.
  • Sulphites are added only once, just before bottling. The total sulphite content is under 40 mg per liter.
  • Bottled on February 6, 2019.

This variety stands out for the complexity contributed by Xarel.lo: very mineral, with citrus and white-fruit notes; bold and luscious.
